Volunteer Appreciation

While we cannot entirely control what happens to us in life, we can control how we show up for it.

Building a network of meaningful #relationships is something I’m truly grateful for, as it has always helped to expand my knowledge of the world around me. It has also given me the gift of joy when I have the opportunity to help others.

When putting together a packet for something I’m keeping close to my heart right now, I reached out to a great#mentor/prior director of mine Queen Sheba D Cisse for a Letter of recommendation. Without hesitation, from halfway across the world, she was all-in. Thank you for the meaningful letter and it’s an honor to know someone who dedicates herself to the service of others and improving #humanity
