DuBois Legacy Juneteenth, Honoring our Ancestors and Freedoms
Juneteenth • June 19, 2026
Honoring the Ancestors.
Celebrating Freedom.
Reconnecting with Our Roots.
On this historic day, I honor the legacy of African Americans and the ancestors whose sacrifices made freedom possible. June 19 also marks a personal milestone—the day my ancestral land in Senegal became part of my family’s continuing legacy. Through my book Return To Glory, I encourage African Americans to explore their history, reclaim their heritage, and strengthen their connection to Africa.

AGRICULTURE QSV, INC
Queen Sheba Village Organization proudly celebrates another meaningful milestone in our journey of advancing sustainable agriculture and food security. Through years of agricultural initiatives, strategic farm partnerships, and international leadership development, our organization has been honored with several distinguished accolades that continue to strengthen our mission. Among these achievements is Founder Queen Sheba D. Cisse becoming the first and only African American graduate to receive two agricultural awards in Ghana after completing the 2024 Ignite African Women in Agribusiness Fellowship. These experiences continue to inspire our vision for the upcoming Young Women and Girls Social Education Center in Senegal, where we hope to expand agricultural education, cultivate sustainable food systems, nourish student participants, and provide meals for orphans whenever funding allows. We celebrate this milestone with gratitude to our partners, supporters, and communities who continue to believe in the power of agriculture, education, and humanitarian service to transform lives for generations to come.
