Recognizing Leadership, Scholarship & Service: Alhajia Adeyinka Shukrah

Queen Sheba Village (QSV), Inc. proudly recognizes Alhajia Adeyinka Shukrah upon receiving a Certificate of Appreciation and Leadership, presented in recognition of her dedicated volunteer service, leadership, and continued support of the educational programs of Queen Sheba Village Organization in Nigeria.

A graduate of the University of Ibadan and Daarud Da’wah wal Irshad in Lagos, Nigeria, Al hajaa Adeyinka Shukrah is an International Volunteer with QSV, Inc and a promising scholar and educator in her own right. Through QSV’s Arabic & Islamic Studies Academy, she contributes her knowledge and skills in Islamic studies, Arabic literacy, and Qur’an recitation, teaching and supporting women and children in her community. Her commitment demonstrates how education, volunteerism, and faith-centered leadership can work together to strengthen communities and expand opportunities for learning.

Senegal, West Africa — Queen Sheba Village, volunteer humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering women, girls, and impoverished communities, proudly joins the international 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. As a women-led organization with a proven track record of community advocacy, education, agriculture, and wellness initiatives, Queen Sheba Village continues to raise its voice for the protection, dignity, and advancement of women and girls across Senegal and beyond.

Through its expanding programs—including women’s leadership development, rural agriculture training, anti-FGC education, youth empowerment, and the upcoming Queen Sheba Education Social Center—the organization champions basic human rights while providing tangible support that uplifts families and strengthens communities. This year, Queen Sheba Village emphasizes action-based solutions: creating safe educational spaces, expanding access to mental health and wellness resources, advocating for girls’ rights, and promoting economic empowerment for vulnerable women.
