Rise for Her: Queen Sheba Village Leading 16 Days of Global Action
Senegal, West Africa — Queen Sheba Village, volunteer humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering women, girls, and impoverished communities, proudly joins the international 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. As a women-led organization with a proven track record of community advocacy, education, agriculture, and wellness initiatives, Queen Sheba Village continues to raise its voice for the protection, dignity, and advancement of women and girls across Senegal and beyond.
Through its expanding programs—including women’s leadership development, rural agriculture training, anti-FGC education, youth empowerment, and the upcoming Queen Sheba Education Social Center—the organization champions basic human rights while providing tangible support that uplifts families and strengthens communities. This year, Queen Sheba Village emphasizes action-based solutions: creating safe educational spaces, expanding access to mental health and wellness resources, advocating for girls’ rights, and promoting economic empowerment for vulnerable women.
Queen Sheba Village collaborates with international volunteers, partner organizations, and grassroots leaders to ensure long-term impact. The organization remains committed to using its voice, platforms, and programs to amplify the lived experiences of women and girls facing poverty, violence, and inequality.
